Dr. Deborah Yee graduated with distinction from the University of Calgary, earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree after completing a Bachelor of Science in Animal Health, majoring in Companion and Performance Animals, from the University of Alberta. During her time in veterinary school, Dr. Yee discovered her interest in veterinary dentistry while working at a veterinary dental practice over the summer. This experience sparked her desire to pursue dentistry as a specialty. After graduating, she completed a small animal rotating internship at Pulse Veterinary Specialists and Emergency in Sherwood Park, Alberta, where she gained extensive hands-on experience in multiple veterinary disciplines. Dr. Yee spent time in general practice before joining the Animal Dental Center in 2025 to begin a formal residency in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery. Outside of her veterinary career, Dr. Yee enjoys playing piano, rock climbing, and spending time with friends and family.
